We are always grateful to the many parents, carers and volunteers who generously give their time to support life at Wolston St Margaret’s.
Our volunteers play a vital role in school, helping in a variety of ways — from listening to children read and supporting learning in class, to assisting at sporting events, accompanying trips and swimming lessons and helping with PTA activities. This valuable support greatly enriches the experiences we can offer our pupils.
As a school, the safety and wellbeing of our children is our highest priority. To ensure this, all staff and volunteers are required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and to follow our Safeguarding Policy and procedures.
In line with Warwickshire County Council guidance, all volunteers are asked to obtain or renew their DBS clearance annually. The school office will provide guidance on how to complete this simple process and support you through each step.
