Little Acorns Nursery is part of Wolston St. Margaret’s vibrant and successful school, where the education, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of our children and families is at the heart of everything we do. Little Acorns is a nurturing and inspiring Preschool, where children grow, learn and thrive. Rooted in a caring and inclusive environment, we provide a safe space for children to explore the world around them through play, creativity and discovery. Our dedicated team of experienced educators supports each child’s unique journey, fostering confidence, curiosity and a love of learning from the very start. At Little Acorns, we believe that from small beginnings, mighty futures grow.
Children are welcome to join Little Acorns Nursery from the beginning of the term following their third birthday.

We offer Diddy Dragons Before and After school club for Little Acorns and Reception children.
Diddy Dragons Before and After School Club provides a vibrant, welcoming space where children can start and end their school day with joy, creativity and connection. Our sessions offer a balance of play, relaxation and engaging activities - from arts and crafts, games and dancing to outdoor adventures - all led by our friendly and experienced team. Whether it’s a calm morning routine or an energetic afternoon of fun, Diddy Dragons is the perfect place for children to unwind, explore and enjoy being themselves.
Diddy Dragons opens at 8am and closes at 5.30pm.
Our uniform is designed for comfort, play, and practicality:
As we play outside every day, whatever the weather, children should always bring a coat and have a pair of named wellies in school—puddles are irresistible! In the wetter months a puddle suit is perfect for our outdoor adventures.
Uniform can be ordered directly from our supplier:

Please ensure all items are clearly named—our lost property box is often overflowing with unnamed clothing!
Nursery is a place for messy fun and occasional accidents. Please provide a full change of clothes in a bag to keep on your child’s peg at all times.
